One-Acts

In addition to my full-length work, I have also written three one-act musicals. Two of them are approximately fifteen minutes in length, while the third, Olympus, is an hour long.  The details regarding Theatre (God I Love It!) and Olympus are included here. The final one-act, Super Hellfire Cooking Man, was the precursor to Super Iron Cooking Chef. All information concerning the show may be found here.

Olympus

Synopsis

Hades hates Hell. He’s always longed for his own throne on Olympus – and he’s finally ready to make that dream a reality. But when the gods choose to elevate a mortal instead of Hades, things get a little more complicated. Join us for an evening of laughter, scheming, and brand-new musical theater. Watch the pantheon as we know it come crashing down in the new musical comedy, Olympus: The Musical!

Production History

After the success of Musical Notes, I teamed up with lauded actor and writer Walker Caplan to create Olympus, based on the winning song from Musical Notes, also titled “Olympus”. The musical was performed as a staged reading at The Pocket Theater in August 2016.

Theatre (God I Love It!)

Synopsis

Theatre (God I Love It!) follows one girl's journey from high school drama geek to broadway superstar, and all in fifteen minutes!  Complete with four original songs, thorough orchestrations, and a roaring sense of humor, Theatre (God I Love It!) is a riot for the whole family.

Production History

I wrote Theatre (God I Love It!) with director and choreographer Margaret Dauer spring 2014.  The short musical was premiered at the Holy Names Academy 2014 New Works Festival, and was subsequently performed in Ingraham High School's 2015 Drama-Rama.
